Job Title: Senior Water Resources Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead the planning, design, and implementation of water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology, hydraulics, water treatment, and distribution systems, with proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the design and development of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

  • Conduct and review hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., EPANET, WaterGEMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS).

  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications for water infrastructure projects.

  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, ensuring technical quality and professional growth.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local and international standards.

  • Develop project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.

  • Support sustainability and resilience initiatives in water management, including reuse, conservation, and green infrastructure.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery within budget.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in water resources or related fields.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent registration preferred.

  • Proficiency in relevant design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, EPANET, WaterGEMS, SWMM, HEC-RAS).

  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes, hydraulic design, and infrastructure planning.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

  • Experience in proposal writing and client interface is an advantage.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with desalination, wastewater reuse, or advanced treatment systems.

  • Knowledge of GIS applications in water management.

  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., AWWA, ISO, WHO).

  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
